About the role:
The Human Resources department provides the services, policies and frameworks that underpin the delivery of the People Strategy to drive operational effectiveness and improved performance across London's largest Police force.
The successful administrator will be providing crucial secretariat support to Senior Managers, HR SLT and the network of Career Development Leads (CDLs). The role holder will be responsible for ensuring the high profile department runs efficiently and effectively. The role holder will be required to work from Kilburn and travel to other London sites if / when required.
Key Responsibilities:
The role holder will be supporting the delivery of HR career development infrastructure Strategy which is led by Talent & Inclusion and Service Delivery teams. Activities will include; supporting logistics of meetings which comprise of scheduling meetings, circulating papers and tracking actions as well as attending and taking minutes. The role also requires:
A main part of the role will be providing high level administration support for business as usual work within the CDT, which may include raising purchase orders and dealing with associated invoice queries, supporting governance meetings and undertaking logistical tasks such as diary management and mailboxes. There is also an element of project support dependent on the demands of current projects.
Essential Criteria:
Desirable Criteria: HR experience and a good understanding of the HR function.
Vetting: The ideal candidate will hold CTC level vetting, if not vetting held, must be eligible and willing to undergo clearance.
