WBPS is an exciting and innovative family owned and run business, specialising in all aspects of power generation and critical infrastructure support. Due to phenomenal growth, we are now looking for driven and motivated Diesel Field Service Engineers to join our thriving business.
We have opportunities located around Milton Keynes area, Bristol Area or Slough area however we are open to locations and will consider other geographical locations. You will undertake maintenance and installation activities on diesel generator sets ranging from 500 KVA - 2.5 MW, including:
* Troubleshooting
* Working with control and switch gear
* Fault diagnosis and rectification on control systems aiming for first time fix
* Carrying out pre planned maintenance and reactive maintenance
* Part of the on call rota
* Customer liaison, ensuring complete customer satisfaction at all times
This role would suit a Generator Service Engineer, alternatively a qualified Electrician or electrically biased Engineer with a strong control logic background such in Siemens, Allen Bradley or a related PLC.
Prior experience with control panel fault finding, change over panels, Automatic Mains Failure panels, PLC's or changing electrical components would be a distinct advantage.
