Job Description

Octavia are a Central London based Charity who provide affodable housing and care to the local community. Currently they are looking for an IT Applications Support Analyst to join their Digital Technology division.

As IT Applications Support Analyst, you will provide first and second line technical support on the configuration and BAU maintenance of applications and processes across Octavia. You will also be managing day-to-day queries ensuring ServiceDesk targets, KPI's and user expectations are achieved.

The key deliverables of this role include:

  • Providing support for core business applications such as Dynamics 365 CRM, Housing Management System (QL) and iTrent
  • Investigating and diagnosing system faults and errors, creating and submitting Request for Change (RFC's) documenting all test, process, training material and any new procedures
  • Performing daily health checks of the applications, scripts, and dashboards
  • Reacting to system alerts and troubleshooting or escalating as appropriate.
  • Setting up new users and closing leaver's accounts
  • Maintaining effective relationships and service level agreements with 3rd party suppliers
  • Mentoring, training and providing cover for members of the IT Support team as and when required.
  • Ensuring that Applications disaster recovery is in line with the IT business continuity plan, well documented and current and backup regimes are effective and tested regularly
  • Implementing agreed actions recommended by audit and/or relevant regulatory and legal requirements as and when required
  • Liaising with suppliers in order to troubleshoot and implement solutions or systems integrations

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will have experience in areas such as Databases and Applications support, hands on, technical knowledge of Dynamics 365 and experience in direct system integration. Ideally you will have good knowledge and of business systems (preferably within the Housing sector), how these work together and how they support the business in; managing, developing, analysing and reporting.

Working knowledge of any of the following systems would be an advantage:

  • Knowledge of any/all of the following systems:
  • Power BI Pro
  • DevOps Pipeline
  • MS SQL SSRS - Reporting services
  • SQL Server
  • Data warehousing
  • Azure
  • API/Webservices for integration of systems
  • Programming language such as PowerShell
  • PowerApps

On offer is a base salary of up to £35,480 per year, plus life cover and pension (up to 10% employer contributions).
