Macildowie are delighted to be recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to join an organisation determined to improve the environment. Based in Ellesmere Port on a full time, permanent basis. Whether you're new to assisting projects or looking for a fresh challenge, our client is open-minded.

The role is based from the office and will require travel to other sites across the UK when needed, so we are looking for someone who is flexible.

Role & Responsibilities:

Assist the project manager to help implement project goal
Provide clerical support for the Project Manager, taking minutes during project meetings
Be responsible for small to mid-sized projects in line with business requirements
Generate project schedules and budgets in a clear and concise format.
Assign duties to implement project goals, as needed, following up with clients and contractors.
Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution.
Overview project goals and ensure project goals are achievable, preparing weekly and monthly updates.
Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing project goals, Pro-actively working with internal and external contacts to produce technical specification.
Review project implementation and gather data on project execution, assisting in the development and implementation of action plans to enable proper time, resource, and process management.
Coordinate with the project manager and other leads following project execution, communicating with team members.
Communicate with clients to cultivate and maintain good relationships.

Ideal Candidate:

Experience in Project Assistant work desirable
Strong Administration skills
Knowledge of MS Projects
Flexible working approach
IT literate
