Accountable for all aspects of performance, including meeting the Terms of Authorisation as an NHS Trust, the CMO will ensure we operate in accordance with the compliance regime established by the Care Quality Commission. In addition, the CMO post includes responsibilities such as the Caldicott Guardian and Responsible Officer for the Trust. The CMO will take a lead executive role in setting and delivering the Trust's future clinical strategy and will advise the Board on professional medical matters from a local, regional and national perspective.
