Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer
Continental shift pattern, working 4 on 4 off covering both days and nights, 6:30am to 6:30pm
Keele, Cheshire
£49,764 (including shift allowance) + overtime (paid at a premium) + benefits

Our operations are organised into three distinct divisions: Landscape Products, Building Products, and Roofing Products and it is within our Marley business that we are looking to recruit a Mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer.

  • Good working knowledge of mechanical engineering
  • Apprentice-trained Mechanical Engineer to NVQ Level 3
  • Experience in mechanical fitting, hydraulics and pneumatics will be an advantage
  • Experience in fabrication and welding would be beneficial
  • Team player with attention to detail
  • Good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Experience in mechanical fault finding, defect rectification and routine maintenance activities
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
