This is the perfect time for a hard-working and experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer , to join our busy Maintenance Team. So, what's the role about? Your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault-finding and maintenance of equipment. You will work on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems. Working 42 hours per week , the current shift pattern covers days and nights , Monday - Sunday. Here is an example of the shift pattern: What are the skills required? A good electrical working knowledge with mechanical experience is essential Time served/apprentice trained in a similar position with Electrical qualifications (C&G 2320 P1 & P2, ONC, NVQ 3 or equivalent) A thorough understanding of the IEE 18th edition Good understanding of current environmental, health, and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements Practical hands-on approach Have significant experience, understanding, and knowledge of the maintenance of a variety of plants Experience in electrical fault finding, defect rectification, and routine maintenance activities Ability to interrogate/understand maintenance problems to provide accurate plant condition information/recommendations.
