Intermediate Architectural Technologist
Location: Manchester
Salary: £30-34,000

We are working with a well-established and highly respected architectural practice with offices across the UK, who are looking to appoint an Intermediate Architectural Technologist to join their Manchester team.

The practice has a varied portfolio spanning mixed-use, retail, healthcare and leisure developments. This is a great opportunity for a technologist with solid Revit experience to step up in responsibility, working on fast-paced, high-volume projects with strong support, clear progression and the chance to build your client-facing experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing technical drawings and construction information in Revit
  • Supporting project delivery across RIBA Stages 3-6, with increasing ownership of packages and details as you progress
  • Working on retail developments for a major supermarket client
  • Coordinating with consultants, contractors and internal project teams
  • Managing your own workload across several live projects, with guidance from senior colleagues
  • Attending client meetings and site visits where required
  • Ensuring information complies with UK Building Regulations and relevant industry standards

About You

  • An Architectural Technologist or Technician with sufficient UK project experience
  • Strong Revit skills, which are essential for this role
  • Good technical knowledge and experience producing detailed construction information
  • Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methods
  • Retail or multi-site rollout experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines
  • A proactive, confident communicator who works well in a collaborative team
  • Keen to develop your career, whether towards senior level, chartership or both
