A welcoming primary school in Cheltenham is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team. You'll support pupils across Foundation Stage, KS1, and KS2, helping them manage emotions, build positive relationships, and re-engage with learning.

Role Overview:

• Behaviour Support Assistant- Cheltenham
• Mainstream Primary School
• ASAP Start
• £90- £105 per day, dependent on experience
• Full-time, term-time only
• 8:30am-3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with behavioural and SEND needs.
• Help children develop emotional regulation and positive learning behaviours.
• Implement individualised behaviour support strategies.
• Support with de-escalation and challenging behaviour.
• Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and parents.
• Promote pupils' wellbeing, safety, and emotional development.

Who We're Looking For:

We're seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant who is patient, empathetic, resilient, and able to remain calm in challenging situations.

Previous experience working with children with behavioural needs or SEND is desirable, but a genuine passion for supporting children is equally important.
