Property Finance Solicitor (NQ-5 years') - Edinburgh

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Property Finance Solicitor to join an established team in Edinburgh.

The role will involve working with a varied client base on property finance and secured lending transactions, acting for both lenders and borrowers.

The Role

You will be involved in a range of property finance matters, including:

  • Examining and reporting on property titles
  • Preparing and negotiating loan and security documentation
  • Advising on secured lending transactions
  • Coordinating loan drawdowns
  • Dealing with the redemption of existing loans and security
  • Supporting the completion of lending transactions
  • Dealing with registration of security
  • Liaising with clients and other stakeholders throughout transactions
  • Supporting the wider team and contributing to business development activity

About You

You will be a qualified Scottish Solicitor with NQ-5 years' PQE with commercial property experience.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience of commercial property and title examination
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Good communication and client relationship skills
  • A commercially focused and proactive approach
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively as part of a team

Previous experience in property finance, banking or secured lending would be advantageous, although training will be provided on the wider aspects of the role.
