We're partnered with an established aerospace precision engineering business based in Romford, manufacturing high-quality components for the aerospace sector.

Due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced Fine Limit Sheet Metal Worker to join their fabrication team.

This is a high-precision fabrication role for someone who takes real pride in their workmanship and is comfortable working to tight dimensional tolerances and demanding cosmetic standards.

You'll be working with aerospace-grade materials and producing complex sheet metal components where accuracy, finish and attention to detail are critical.

The Role

You'll be responsible for manufacturing, forming and assembling fine-limit sheet metal components, working from engineering drawings and technical instructions to ensure every component meets the required specification.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manufacturing and assembling fine-limit aerospace sheet metal components
• Working from complex engineering drawings, patterns and technical instructions
• Forming, bending and shaping aerospace-grade materials
• Carrying out drilling, riveting, fitting and assembly operations
• Producing components to tight dimensional tolerances
• Ensuring finished components meet required visual and cosmetic standards
• Carrying out detailed finishing and preparation work
• Maintaining accurate job records and supporting full traceability
• Working closely with Engineering, Quality and Production teams
• Identifying and resolving fabrication issues where required
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Fine Limit Sheet Metal Worker
• Strong aerospace sheet metal fabrication experience
• Experience working with aluminium, stainless steel, titanium and other aerospace materials
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
• Strong manual dexterity and fabrication skills
• Experience working to tight tolerances
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Knowledge of aerospace fabrication and assembly techniques
• High standards of quality and finish
• Experience within another high-specification or precision manufacturing environment may also be considered where the relevant fine-limit fabrication skills are transferable.
