We're working with a fast-growing organisation in Cardiff Bay seeking a Transactional Finance Team Leader to oversee a high-performing finance operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control functions while playing a key role in improving processes and supporting business growth.

Description

The Role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day performance of the transactional finance team, ensuring service levels are maintained and continuous improvements are delivered across finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control
• Monitor KPIs, team performance and service delivery
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
• Support month-end reporting activities
• Manage escalated supplier and customer queries
• Coach, mentor and develop team members
• Support finance system enhancements and automation projects
• Ensure controls and procedures are maintained
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the wider business

Profile

About You

• Previous experience leading or supervising a transactional finance team
• Strong background across AP, AR and Credit Control
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience driving process improvements and efficiencies
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong systems and reporting skills
