Position: Maths Lead
Location: Bluebank School, Whittington Moor, Derbyshire, S41 8LQ
Salary: Up to £45,000.00 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm
Contract: Permanent Term Time Only
Start: September 2026

We're looking for an ambitious and inspiring Maths Lead to join Bluebank School and transform the way our students experience, understand and engage with mathematics.
This is more than leading a subject, it's your opportunity to shape the curriculum, inspire colleagues and unlock potential. You'll champion high-quality maths teaching across the school, creating learning that is purposeful, engaging and accessible for every student.
Working closely with the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and wider leadership team, you'll play a key role in developing an ambitious maths curriculum that reflects the individual needs of our learners and equips them with the knowledge, confidence and skills they need to succeed.

Bluebank School is an Acorn Education school in Chesterfield, providing specialist education for pupils aged 11 to 16 with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and other complex learning needs.
