Conveyancing Paralegal Permanent Full time Dunfermline Salary 30,000 - 32,000 DOE

Search Consultancy are delighted to be working with our client to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded and growing legal firm, supporting clients through every stage of their property transaction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring clients receive a professional and seamless service throughout.

This role would ideally suit an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal with a proven background in handling their own residential conveyancing caseload and looking to join a forward-thinking firm that offers flexibility, support and excellent benefits.



Duties involved in this role will include:

  • Managing a busy caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from inception to completion
  • Handling all aspects of purchase, sale, transfer and remortgage transactions
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout the conveyancing process
  • Providing guidance and support to clients, keeping them informed at every stage of their transaction
  • Liaising with solicitors, lenders, estate agents and other third parties to progress transactions efficiently
  • Preparing and reviewing conveyancing documentation
  • Ensuring all case records are maintained accurately and in line with regulatory requirements
  • Using the Denovo case management system to manage files and transactions
  • Delivering a high standard of client service and maintaining strong professional relationships
  • Assisting with any other conveyancing-related duties as required


In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:

  • Previous experience working as a Conveyancing Paralegal handling your own caseload of residential conveyancing transactions - this experience is ESSENTIAL
  • A minimum of 1 year's conveyancing experience, although candidates with 2+ years' experience managing their own transactions are highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process from start to finish
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to effectively manage a busy and varied caseload
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to liaise with clients and external stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • A proactive and client-focused approach to work
