EWI Recruitment is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Energy Finance Recruiter to establish, grow and lead our Energy Finance practice.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional with a background in Energy Finance, Energy Trading, Power Trading, Commodities, Investment Banking, M&A, Infrastructure Finance or Renewable Energy Finance to take ownership of a specialist desk with significant growth potential.

About the Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow EWI's Energy Finance recruitment division.
• Win and manage new business opportunities across the energy finance and trading sectors.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders across energy companies, trading houses, investment funds, banks and financial institutions.
• Deliver high-quality recruitment solutions across permanent and retained search assignments.
• Recruit professionals across:
  • Energy Trading
  • Power Trading
  • Renewable Energy Finance
  • Commodity Trading
  • Infrastructure & Project Finance
  • Investment Banking
  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
  • Energy Investment & Advisory
• Build and manage a pipeline of high-calibre candidates and clients.
• Negotiate commercial terms and secure new partnerships.
• Act as a market expert within your specialist sector.
• Support the future growth of the division through mentoring and leadership responsibilities.
• Contribute to strategic planning and expansion initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years' recruitment experience, with consideration given up to senior leadership level.
• Previous experience recruiting within:
  • Energy Finance
  • Energy Trading
  • Commodities
  • Power Markets
  • Infrastructure Finance
  • Banking and Financial Services
  • Renewable Energy sectors
• Demonstrated success in business development and client acquisition.
• Strong commercial acumen and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing recruitment processes from start to finish.
• Leadership potential and an interest in helping build and grow a team.
• Self-motivated, mature and highly professional.
• A collaborative approach with a genuine team-first mentality.
