Job Description

CNC Turner Fanuc Control Medium-Sized Engineering Firm

Experienced CNC Turner required for a permanent role with a medium-sized engineering firm.

Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join their team.

Key Responsibilities CNC Turner

  • Program, set, and operate CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls

  • Follow offline programming, tooling sheets, and machining instructions

  • Download CNC programs and save proven files once parts are inspected

  • Operate manual machining centers where applicable

  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and minimise waste

  • Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings accurately

  • Change tool inserts and adjust offsets to meet drawing specifications and tolerances

  • Monitor quality and productivity, supporting continuous improvement initiatives

  • Follow written instructions, safe working practices, and maintain a tidy work area

  • Report any quality, safety, or machine issues to your supervisor or line manager

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years experience on CNC turning machines

  • Proficient in Fanuc control systems

  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

  • High levels of concentration and focus to meet production targets and deadlines

  • Reliable, proactive, and quality-focused

Hours & Pay

  • Monday Thursday: 6:00am 3:00pm

  • 36 hours per week
