The Role Semi Skilled Fitter / Mechanical Assembler As a Semi Skilled Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and complete assemblies in line with engineering drawings and company specifications. Key Responsibilities: Assemble and construct complete mechanical assemblies from engineering drawings Work from general arrangement and detailed engineering drawings Ensure all components are correctly aligned using appropriate jigs and tools Monitor build quality and ensure all parts are fit for purpose Carry out quality checks throughout the assembly process Identify and report non-conforming or damaged parts to the supervisor Ensure all work is fully understood before commencing final assembly Complete builds within agreed timeframes and to required specifications Maintain accurate quality and production records Follow company procedures and comply with all health & safety regulations Shifts Available: Two day shift options available: Option 1 6:00am Start Monday Thursday: 6:00am 3:00pm Friday: 6:00am 11:00am Option 2 7:00am Start Day shift (hours to be confirmed at interview) Early finish on Fridays.
