An exciting opportunity to build something of your own A growing specialist family law firm is looking for an experienced Family Solicitor or Legal Executive to establish and lead a brand-new office in a location agreed with the successful candidate.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious family lawyer who wants to take the next step in their career, develop a local presence and ultimately build a team, without having to start from scratch.
You will have the backing of an established and respected family law firm, with support from the existing offices across marketing, business development, administration, compliance and operations, allowing you to concentrate on building the office, developing relationships and growing your own practice.
The Role You will take responsibility for establishing and developing the new office, while continuing to manage your own private family caseload. This will include:
TOLATA experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
About You The firm is ideally looking for a solicitor or legal executive with 8+ years' family law experience, although applications from candidates with less experience will be considered where they can demonstrate the right technical ability, commercial awareness and business-development potential.
You should have:
Why Join? This is much more than simply joining another family law team. You will have the opportunity to shape and lead a new office, with the infrastructure and support of an established specialist firm behind you.
You'll benefit from:
A firm that genuinely understands family commitments The firm's values extend to its own people as well as its clients. It has deliberately maintained a personal, supportive and family-focused culture as it has grown.
The firm recognises that family life doesn't always fit neatly around traditional working hours. Where client and business requirements allow, it is happy to consider temporary adjustments to working hours during school holidays and other periods when childcare can be challenging.
Flexible working isn't simply a policy on paper - the firm takes individual circumstances into account and aims to support colleagues in building a successful career alongside their family commitments.
The Opportunity This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced family lawyer who wants greater autonomy, leadership responsibility and the chance to build something from the ground up, while still having the support and security of an established specialist firm.
The location of the new office will be agreed with the successful candidate, taking into account their existing network, local knowledge and the commercial opportunities available.
