TIG Welder

We are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join a well-established aerospace manufacturing company based near the Redditch area. • Carry out manual and orbital TIG welding of tube assemblies, brackets and components.
• Work from engineering drawings, data cards, process specifications and standard work instructions.
• Set up, operate, maintain and programme TIG and orbital welding equipment.
• Inspect finished components using equipment including shadowgraphs, borescopes, verniers and micrometres.
• Ensure all work meets the required quality and aerospace manufacturing standards.

TIG WelderEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a TIG Welder, ideally within an aerospace or regulated precision manufacturing environment.
• Confident reading and working from engineering drawings.
• Experience welding a variety of materials, including stainless steel, titanium, aluminium and/or Inconel.
• Experience using inspection and measurement equipment.
