An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join a specialist Property Disputes team in Oxford.
The team acts for a wide range of residential and commercial clients across the UK, advising on a broad spectrum of property disputes including boundary and title disputes, adverse possession, covenants and easements, management company disputes, residential possession, co-habitation and joint ownership disputes, dilapidations, business lease renewals and rights of light.
The roleAs a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in the continued growth and development of the department. You will manage your own caseload, provide high-quality and commercially focused advice, develop strong client and referrer relationships, and contribute to the department's business development strategy.
You will also support the Head of Department with strategic and operational objectives, assist with the management and development of a small team, and supervise and coach colleagues to ensure consistently high standards of work and client service.
The role will suit someone who is commercially minded, confident with clients and motivated to develop their own profile and network. Proven business development experience and the ability to generate new work are essential.
About youYou will ideally be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with around 7-8 years' PQE and substantial experience in property disputes. You will have strong technical and client management skills, be able to manage multiple priorities effectively, and have experience supporting team leadership.
You will also be expected to demonstrate a clear approach to business development and a genuine interest in contributing to the sustainable growth of the department.
