Apprenticeship Overview:

• Salary: £8.00 an hour, Automatic pay increase after one year on programme for 19+ year olds
• Working Week:Monday - Sunday (30 hours per week, shift to be confirmed)
• Hours:30 hours per week
• Duration:13 months
• Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship standard qualification
• Online training supported by our dedicated tutor
• Location:Nexus Business Centre, 6 Darby Close, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN2 2PN

As an Adult Care Apprentice, you will:

• Deliver safe, respectful and person-centred care to individuals in their own homes and/or supported living settings.
• Support with personal care, daily living activities, mobility, meals and hydration.
• Provide medication support where trained, competent and authorised.
• Encourage independence, wellbeing and participation in social and community activities.
• Observe and report changes in individuals' health and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate and confidential care records.
• Follow care plans, risk assessments and Ltd policies and procedures.
• Comply with safeguarding, health and safety and infection control requirements.
• Communicate effectively with service users, families, colleagues and other professionals.
• Complete apprenticeship training, attend learning sessions and work towards achieving the apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications:

• GCSEs in English and Maths at grades 4-9 (A -C) desirable
