The successful candidate will obtain a Level 3 Teaching Assistant SEND Apprenticeship standard qualification. Each apprentice will have their own dedicated tutor who will conduct monthly remote tutorials and reviews, providing continuous support throughout the apprenticeship program. Depending on the apprentice's needs, the frequency of these sessions may vary. What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship? Apprenticeship Overview: Salary: £8.00 an hour, Automatic pay increase after one year on programme for 19+ year olds Working Week:Monday - Sunday (30 hours per week, shift to be confirmed) Hours:30 hours per week Duration:13 months Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship standard qualification Online training supported by our dedicated tutor Location:Nexus Business Centre, 6 Darby Close, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN2 2PN As an Adult Care Apprentice, you will: Deliver safe, respectful and person-centred care to individuals in their own homes and/or supported living settings. Support with personal care, daily living activities, mobility, meals and hydration. Provide medication support where trained, competent and authorised. Encourage independence, wellbeing and participation in social and community activities. Observe and report changes in individuals' health and wellbeing. Maintain accurate and confidential care records. Follow care plans, risk assessments and Ltd policies and procedures. Comply with safeguarding, health and safety and infection control requirements. Communicate effectively with service users, families, colleagues and other professionals. Complete apprenticeship training, attend learning sessions and work towards achieving the apprenticeship qualification.
