Blackstone Education are currently working with a client who are looking to recruit both Occupational Therapists and Highly Specialist Occupational Therapists on either a locum or permanent basis.
These roles are based around South West and South London within various SEN and mainstream schools and clinics.
Salary range is up to £50,000 for OT's and £65,000 for Highly specialist occupational therapists depending on experience. Locum rates to be negotiated.
Minimum requirements for this role are 2 years post qualified experience working within schools. Please note competencies must be completed.

Job Title: Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist
Location: South West London
Salary: Up to £65,000 FTE, dependent on experience
Hours: Part-time or full-time available
Contract: Permanent, with 52-week, summer contract and part-time options available. The summer contract offers five weeks off during the summer break plus 22 days annual leave.

About the role
You ll work mainly in school settings, with some clinic-based and remote opportunities where appropriate. As an Occupational Therapist, you ll help unlock children and young people s potential by assessing EHCP-related needs, delivering specialist interventions and supporting therapy goals to become part of everyday life.
In this role, you ll:
Assess children and young people s developmental and learning needs, including those linked to Education, Health and Care Plans.
Develop, deliver and review individualised occupational therapy intervention plans.
Work with parents, carers, teaching teams and multi-disciplinary colleagues to embed therapy goals into daily life.
Equip key adults with practical strategies, evaluate impact, maintain accurate documentation and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings.
It s a varied role where you ll balance assessment, intervention, consultation and collaboration, while making a visible difference to children, families and school teams every day.
