We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Head of Regulatory Compliance, CIB Advisory & Policy Advisory
The Risk and Compliance function is a second line of defence (2LOD) function, responsible for reviewing and challenging the activities of the Group's businesses to ensure that they effectively manage as "Risk Owners" the risks inherent in or arising from the conduct of their activities and for which they are responsible. The Second LOD consists of 'Risk Stewards' who are independent of the commercial risk taking activities undertaken by the businesses. The Risk and Compliance function is a Risk Steward for a number of non financial risks in accordance with HSBC Group's risk management framework.
The Head of Regulatory Compliance for HSBC Bank plc Guernsey Branch (HSBC.G) is an exciting Senior Management role responsible for ensuring HSBC's operations in Guernsey are effective in identifying, managing and mitigating Regulatory Compliance risks. The role provides appropriate oversight, credible challenge and advice to senior stakeholders to support adherence to applicable local regulatory requirements and HSBC standards.
Alongside the Guernsey Branch accountabilities, this position also carries CIB (Commercial and Institutional Banking) Regulatory Compliance & Policy Advisory responsibilities, supporting CIB line management across CIIOM.
