We're working with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy that is continuing to grow its Planning and Environment team across Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Associate Town Planner / Associate Director to join a well-established consultancy, work on high-profile projects and take on increased responsibility across a growing portfolio of work.
The role offers hybrid working from either the Edinburgh or Glasgow office, providing flexibility while still giving you the opportunity to collaborate with a strong team of technical specialists.
The consultancy works across a diverse range of sectors, including energy, transport and defence, supporting clients on complex and often nationally significant development projects.
The OpportunityThis Associate Town Planner / Associate Director position is suited to an experienced planner who is confident providing strategic planning advice, managing projects and building strong client relationships.
You'll have the opportunity to work across a broad portfolio of development projects, taking responsibility for planning deliverables from project inception through to completion. You'll also play an important role in developing client relationships, supporting business growth and mentoring less experienced members of the team.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Associate Town Planner looking for progression, or an established Associate Director seeking a new challenge within a growing Scottish consultancy.
We're looking for an experienced planning professional with a strong understanding of the UK planning system and a proven track record within planning consultancy or a similar environment.
You'll ideally have:Experience of Section 36 or Section 37 applications, Development Consent Orders (DCOs), or major infrastructure projects would be advantageous, although it is not essential.
