Multi Trade Operative - Merton, Sutton, Croydon
24.54 per hour + Company Van & Fuel Card

An excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced Multi Trade Operatives to join a reputable Social Housing Contractor working across Merton, Sutton, Croydon, and surrounding areas.
This role offers a competitive hourly rate of 24.54, along with a company van and fuel card, working within occupied residential properties delivering high-quality reactive repairs and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of multi-trade works, including:
  • Carpentry
  • Plumbing
  • Basic plastering, tiling, and decorating
• Undertake reactive repairs and general maintenance within social housing properties
• Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently across multiple trades
• Complete works relating to damp, mould, and general property repairs
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard with minimal disruption to tenants
• Work independently to manage a daily workload (up to 7 jobs per day)

Working Hours

• 08:00 - 17:00 (Monday to Friday)
• Optional out-of-hours work may be available

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Multi Trade Operative within social housing or similar environments
• Strong all-round skills across multiple trades
• Ability to work in occupied properties with a professional and customer-focused approach
• Must supply own basic hand and power tools
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
