Gas Planner

Kingsmead Office - London

£36,038 - £37,935 per year

40 hours per week

We have an opportunity for two Gas Planners to join our Gas team based in Kingsmead Office London. You will be joining the Gas Planning Team, scheduling appointments for Gas Safety Checks throughout the London Region. Ensuring gas engineers have well planned and efficient workloads and that customer appointments are managed effectively. Delivering high-quality, effective and efficient scheduling in accordance with legislative & contract specifications.

The role of Gas Planner will include:
  • Deliver high-quality, consistent scheduling and programming of gas servicing and repairs across the London Gas Region ensuring compliance targets are met
  • Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations in accordance with contract and service specifications, effectively communicating progress and outcomes to the customer
  • Manage relationships with internal and external customers, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately
  • Maintain effective filing systems, database records and processes that enable accurate recording and timely provision of information, ensuring they are as user friendly and accessible as possible
  • Assist in the production of quality statistical information on key performance indicators such as satisfaction levels and response times to assist managers in target setting, performance monitoring and implementing improvements
Skills and experiences:
  • Experience of using multiple systems and processes to effectively schedule a field Workforce
  • Working knowledge of relevant regulations, legislation and good practice
  • NVQ2 in Customer Service or Business Administration (or similar)
  • Ability to extract and interpret data from a number of sources
  • Good negotiation and planning skills
