HGV1 (C+E) Day Driver£17.00 per hour Overtime £22.50 per hour Monday to Friday Immediate Starts AvailablePertemps Milton Keynes are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Day Drivers to support one of our valued clients with ongoing holiday cover requirements.This role offers block weekly bookings, regular day shifts, minimal manual handling and immediate assessment opportunities.The Role

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 05:00 - 05:30
• Average 8-9 hour shifts
• Delivering goods to trade and commercial sites
• Operating curtain-side vehicles
• Goods unloaded by FLT at delivery points
• Minimal handball involved
• Ongoing holiday cover with block bookings available

Pay Rates

• £17.00 per hour
• £22.50 per hour overtime rate after 10 hours worked per day
• Weekly pay

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• 6-12 months Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Reliable and professional approach to work
