Help shape the future of retirement income at Aviva. We're looking for a Senior Underwriter to join our Individual Annuities team - a business that plays a vital role in supporting customers through retirement by providing guaranteed income for life. With a target of £1.5bn PVNBP in 2026, this is an exciting time to make an impact.

You'll make expert underwriting decisions on complex Individual Annuities (IA) and Long-Term Care (LTC) cases, ensuring fair outcomes for customers and for Aviva. You'll work closely with IA quotes teams, non advised sales, and reinsurers to deliver accurate, timely annuity quotes. You'll also play a key role in developing colleagues and improving customer journeys and processes across the team.

• Proven experience as a Medical Underwriter with knowledge of Individual Annuities product features and underwriting processes prefered.
• Strong understanding of complaints handling, breach procedures, GDPR and relevant legislation.
• Excellent planning, prioritisation and organisational skills.

• Customer focused with a sound understanding of risk management.

• Salary : Circa £40,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
