Consultant in Adult Psychiatry - Whitby

Job Title: Adult Psychiatrist (Grade: Consultant) - Whitby, Yorkshire

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Rate: Competitive, discussed upon application

• Provide high quality patient care and conduct comprehensive assessments within the General Adult Psychiatry Ward.
• Develop individualised treatment plans for each patient.
• Maintain compliance with all legal obligations prescribed by the Mental Health Act (MHA) and the Ministry of Justice.
• Assess patients under the MHA and make recommendations as a Responsible Clinician (RC).

• Full GMC licence to practice.
• Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician (AC) status.
• Previous experience in a similar adult psychiatry role.

• Role requires Section 12 and Approved Clinician (AC) approval.
• Full compliance with the Mental Health Act and Ministry of Justice requirements.
