Location: Purley, South London (Hybrid 3 Days Office / 2 Days Home)

Our client is an established international creative services business with over 35 years experience supporting many of the world s leading retail and consumer brands.

Specialising in brand strategy, packaging design, artwork, localisation and creative production, they deliver end-to-end creative solutions across multiple international markets. With operations across the UK, Europe and the USA, the business is entering an exciting period of continued growth.

They are now looking to appoint an experienced Head of HR to join the Senior Leadership Team and lead the people strategy as the organisation continues to scale internationally.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Directors, you will take ownership of the HR function, acting as a trusted adviser to the Senior Leadership Team and supporting the continued growth of the business.

You will combine strategic thinking with practical delivery, developing scalable HR frameworks, strengthening organisational capability and ensuring the business remains compliant across multiple jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will have experience supporting growing organisations, ideally within an international environment, with the ability to build relationships, influence senior stakeholders and deliver commercially focused HR solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the company s People Strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Act as a trusted HR adviser to Directors and senior stakeholders.
• Lead and develop the HR function, ensuring processes are scalable and effective.
• Support organisational growth through workforce planning, succession planning and talent strategy.
• Build and improve HR policies, systems and processes.
• Champion employee engagement, culture and employee experience.
• Provide expert advice on employee relations and employment law matters.
• Ensure compliance across UK and international operations, including Europe and the USA.
• Support international growth through HR frameworks, employment practices and compliance across multiple territories.
• Oversee payroll, benefits, reward and HR reporting.
• Develop leadership capability, performance management and learning initiatives.

About You

We are looking for an experienced HR professional who is commercially minded, approachable and comfortable operating in a growing business environment.

You will ideally have:

• Senior HR leadership experience within a growing organisation.
• Experience supporting international business growth, including exposure to overseas operations or multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience building or developing HR functions and implementing scalable HR frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
• Experience working closely with Directors and senior leadership teams.
• Strong organisational development, change management and workforce planning experience.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

Experience within creative services, FMCG, retail, consumer goods, packaging, professional services or other quality-focused commercial environments would be advantageous.
