As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key customer accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Conducting regular service reviews and account management meetings.
- Providing strategic guidance and recommendations to customers.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance customers' IT environments and services.
- Liaising with technical, service delivery and project teams to ensure successful outcomes.
- Producing account plans, service reports and technology roadmaps.
- Supporting contract renewals and identifying opportunities for account growth.
- Monitoring customer satisfaction and driving service improvements.
- Managing escalations and ensuring issues are resolved effectively and professionally.
- Acting as the voice of the customer across the organisation.
Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Technical Account Manager, IT Account Manager, Customer Success Manager or similar client-facing role.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud solutions and managed services.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to translate technical concepts into clear business benefits.
- Strong commercial awareness and experience developing client accounts.
- Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
- A proactive, consultative and customer-focused approach.
- The ability to work collaboratively with technical and commercial teams.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure technologies.
- Experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
