A lovely family based in South Kensington are seeking an experienced and highly organised part time nanny / PA to care for their 7-month-old baby while providing light personal assistant support. This role involves shared care with the mother (who works from home) and alongside the family's existing nanny earlier in the week, with sole charge on Thursdays and Fridays. The ideal candidate will be warm, discreet and confident caring for babies, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to anticipate the family's needs. An Italian speaker would be highly desirable. Applicants must be confident drivers, competent swimmers and able to travel both within the UK and internationally when required. Flexibility to provide occasional evening cover on Fridays and Saturdays is also essential. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are required.
Responsibilities
- Providing attentive and nurturing care for the baby
- Managing feeding, sleep routines and daily hygiene
- Planning age-appropriate developmental activities and sensory play
- Supporting the child's emotional development and encouraging independence
- Promoting positive behaviour and good manners
- Working collaboratively with the mother and the existing nanny
- Providing sole charge care on designated days
- Keeping the nursery, toys and child's belongings clean and organised
- Children's laundry and wardrobe management
- Packing for holidays and family travel
- Assisting with light household administration
- Researching holidays and making bookings when required
- Grocery shopping and running household errands
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher and assisting with light household tasks
- Helping with organisation and packing for trips when needed
- Travelling with the family in the UK and abroad when required
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS
- UK work permit
- Valid Driver's License
- Italian language is desirable
- Confident drivers who can travel within the UK and internationally when required
- Flexibility to provide occasional evening cover on Fridays and Saturdays
- Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references
