Pertemps are delighted to be working with our public sector client to recruit a Senior Administrator on a temporary basis.

Role: Senior Administrator
Location: Edinburgh Central (hybrid working)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
Pay Rate: £16.07 per hour
Duration: Temporary ongoing
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role
Working within the Network Management & Enforcement team, you'll provide senior administrative support to Transport Officers, Engineers, Project Managers and the Team Manager, helping to deliver key transport projects and services across the city.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Providing senior administrative support via telephone, email, MS Teams and face-to-face.
  • Coordinating information, documentation and service requests to support project delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handling confidential information in line with policies and legislation.
  • Prioritising workloads, resolving service queries and supporting continuous service improvement.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in a senior administrative or business support role.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using databases and IT systems.
  • Ability to manage confidential information and work to deadlines.
  • Experience in a regulated or public sector environment is desirable.
