Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Salary: Competitive Salary, Negotiable Depending on Experience.
Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands, WV2.
Schedule: Monday - Friday: 7am-4pm - Friday 7am-3.45pm.
About The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Hot Forge Operator to join one of the UKs award winning leading manufacturers of High-Quality Special Fasteners.
You'll be responsible for setting and running hot forging presses, carrying out tooling changeovers, and producing high-quality bolts, nuts, and custom fasteners.
Our long-serving operator is now semi-retired, so we need someone who can step straight into the role with solid hands-on forging experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate hot forging presses & induction heaters
- Complete die/tooling set-ups and adjustments
- Check parts during production to maintain quality
- Handle hot materials and tooling safely
- Follow all health & safety procedures
Ideal Candidate
- Experience with hot forging machines or presses
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Able to work independently and safely
- Good communication and reliability
- Fastener industry experience is a bonus
You Need to be confident with forging equipment and take pride in producing quality components. You can hit the ground running and support a busy production team.
