Senior Tax Advisor (Up to Vice President)
Location: London
The Senior Tax Advisor will support the management of the in house global Transfer Pricing (TP) function. Key duties include governance, policy oversight, documentation, coordination with external vendors, and interaction with auditors and tax authorities.
Responsibilities
- Participate in governance routines and review data sources to ensure timely identification of new intercompany relationships.
- Design, implement and maintain TP methodologies.
- Act as liaison with key internal stakeholders and the Global TP Policy.
- Supervise all aspects of the Global TP Policy.
- Coordinate and facilitate annual TP documentation processes with external vendors.
- Manage queries from external auditors, tax authorities and regulatory investigations.
- Research, analyse and interpret complex tax laws and regulations.
- Assist in developing complex transfer pricing methodologies.
- Track and review preparation of transfer pricing related tax compliance and reporting by others.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of OECD Guidelines and US Transfer Pricing Regulations.
- Analytical and problem solving mindset.
- Advanced experience in a law firm, accounting firm or financial services specialising in transfer pricing.
- Financial services experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills and frequent interaction with senior internal and external stakeholders.
Desired Skills
- Intermediate or higher proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong upward management skills.
- Knowledge of international (non US) tax systems.
- Effective business influencer.
