Homelessness Prevention and Relief Officer needed in Newbury Paying £28.99 per hr ref

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• Managing homelessness prevention and relief cases from application through to resolution
• Conducting assessments under relevant housing legislation
• Developing Personalised Housing Plans (PHPs)
• Providing housing advice and homelessness prevention support
• Working with landlords, support agencies, and external partners to secure accommodation solutions
• Assessing vulnerability, safeguarding, and support needs
• Making decisions in line with homelessness legislation and council policies
• Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with statutory duties
• Supporting customers to access temporary or long-term accommodation
