September 2026 to July 2027
£85 - £101 per day

Provide academic support to under-achievers and students with Autism

The Role:
As an Academic Learning Mentor, you will work closely with students who require additional support to make progress in the classroom. You will provide focused 1:1 and small-group interventions, helping pupils improve their confidence, engagement and attainment. You will also support students with Autism, adapting your approach to meet individual learning needs.

The Candidate:
This role will suit a graduate who is patient, resilient and committed to helping young people succeed. You should be confident building positive relationships with students and able to explain work in a clear, encouraging way.

Requirements
- 2:2 degree or above in any subject.
- A genuine interest in supporting young people with additional academic or SEN needs.
- Strong communication skills and a calm, adaptable approach.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Enhanced DBS - Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
