Climate change • Climate change refers to long term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. Human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to the burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas.
Arup's Safety Risk and Reliability team advises on complex energy, infrastructure, transport, industry and built environment projects worldwide. You will join as a Senior Consultant (Dangerous Goods / Process Safety). This role will suit an experienced consultant with expertise in process safety, dangerous goods, fire and explosion risk, and regulatory compliance, delivering high quality advice across multiple sectors.
You will provide UK and EU safety advice, helping clients manage regulatory requirements with a clear, proportionate approach to risk. The role spans the full asset lifecycle, from strategy and design through construction, commissioning, operation and modification. Working in a multi disciplinary team, you will lead projects covering dangerous goods storage and handling, DSEAR / ATEX, COMAH / Seveso type risks and wider process safety, while helping grow Arup's capability in the UK and Europe.
