The Role

The successful candidate will handle a broad range of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, providing a high standard of service to clients while maintaining efficient case progression.

The role would suit a confident and organised solicitor who is comfortable managing their own caseload, working under pressure, and contributing positively to a busy conveyancing department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions
  • Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases for both registered and unregistered titles
  • Dealing with transfer of equity matters
  • Managing remortgage transactions
  • Advising clients throughout the conveyancing process
  • Liaising with estate agents, lenders, solicitors, and other third parties
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documentation
  • Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and compliantly
  • Providing exceptional levels of client care and communication
  • Supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative team environment

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor status with 2+ years' PQE in residential conveyancing
  • Experience managing a broad residential property caseload independently
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional, approachable, and client-focused manner
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure within a busy department
  • A positive and collaborative attitude towards teamwork
  • Good IT proficiency and familiarity with case management systems
