Team Leader
Full-Time Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30
Working at a global headquarters in Hatfield, the Team leader will be responsible for all warehouse functions and leading a team of 5 warehouse operatives.
The focus of the role is to ensure that the organization delivers exceptional delivery service and exceeds the needs of its customers.
The Role
As a Team Leader, you'll be leading the warehouse team with a hands-on approach. You'll ensure the smooth flow of daily warehouse activities, from order processing to team oversight, while maintaining the highest standards in safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
A key responsibility for this role is to set and maintain the highest standards in the warehouse across all areas and to ensuring that store standards remain in line with the company's high standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with warehouse operations.
- Oversee daily order consolidation and dispatch readiness.
- Coordinate with the warehouse manager on goods out and same-day deliveries.
- Oversee all daily collections.
- Conduct daily HSE and housekeeping walkarounds.
- Perform spot checks and maintain pick face accuracy.
- Carry out last minute order amendments & customer requests.
- Providing KPI information to the warehouse manager.
- Support team members with warehouse functions.
Training & Skills Development
- ERP System (order processing, stock movements, cancellations).
- Warehouse Management System.
- Logistics booking systems.
- Health & Safety, First Aid, Fire Marshall, and FLT operations.
- KPI and query reporting.
- Pick face and packing list management.
What We're Looking For
- Warehousing experience.
- Counterbalance and Reach truck License (preferred but not required).
- Ability to multitask.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
