About the Role
As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and legal support to the conveyancing team, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of residential property transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of residential conveyancing including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
- Prepare and review legal documentation and property searches
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, and mortgage providers
- Manage administrative tasks and maintain accurate case records
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and firm standards
- Deliver exceptional client care throughout the transaction process
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Conveyancing Assistant or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of conveyancing processes and Land Registry requirements
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
- Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office
