Position: Midday Supervisor
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: From 14.24 per hour (with opportunities for higher rates depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you
About the Role
As a Midday Supervisor in Doncaster, you will play a key role in ensuring pupils remain safe, happy, and engaged during lunchtime.
You will supervise children in the dining hall, playground, and around the school, encouraging positive behaviour and supporting a safe and inclusive environment.
This role is also a great opportunity for those looking to gain experience within schools, particularly if you are considering progressing into a Teaching Assistant role or a career in education.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise pupils during lunch in the dining hall and playground
Encourage positive play, inclusion, and good behaviour
Support younger children with meals and routines where required
Manage minor incidents in line with school policies
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils
Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns
Candidate Requirements
- Experience working with children (school, childcare, or similar setting desirable)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A caring, patient, and reliable approach
Ability to work well as part of a team
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
