Platinum Employment are looking for Care Home Chefs in Hull to support a local care home. This is an ongoing temporary assignment covering a vacancy up to 40 hours a week in Hull that offers great benefits and a supportive agency, we want to hear from you!

As the care home Chef you will be:

• Working with a Kitchen Assistant cooking for 21 residents in a complex care home.
• Working 3-4 days a week, 08:00 -18:00.
• Using your IDDSI knowledge into the food, following all dietary requirements including diabetic.
• Bringing your valuable experience from a care home or other professional kitchen environment.
• Contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen team.
• Plan and prepare appealing, nutritious meals that meet individual children needs and preferences, including dietary requirements.
• Back office duties.
• Ensuring the kitchen environment is consistently clean and adheres to all food safety standards.

What do you need?

• IDDSI training
• Level 2/3 Food Hygiene Certificate
• Food Allergen Certificate
• Enhanced DBS Certificate on the update service
• Previous care home experience
