Temporary Catering Assistants

We are seeking Catering Assistants to support operations at Medway's Country Parks on a temporary basis during weekends and school half terms.

This role is well suited to individuals who enjoy practical, hands-on work in a busy and social environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Clearing tables and maintaining a clean, organised dining area
• Restocking fridges and supplies
• Operating the till and processing transactions
• Assisting with food preparation and cooking once trained
• Providing efficient and friendly customer service

Requirements:

• Previous experience in catering or customer-facing roles is desirable but not essential
• A willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Ability to remain effective during busy periods
• A reliable and proactive approach to work

Working hours: Shifts typically run between 9:30am and 4:00pm. Flexibility is required, as work is mainly during weekends and school half terms.

Location: Work may take place across multiple park locations. Public transport is limited, so applicants should be able to travel to one or more sites.
