Work on real ships, not just parts on a bench What You ll Be Doing

• You ll be at the heart of the action fabricating, assembling, and installing key ship components to the highest standards.

• Your day-to-day could include:
• Marking off materials
• Building ship structures (shells, decks, bulkheads & more)
• Fabricating items like ladders, panels & flooring
• Installing hatches, watertight doors & onboard equipment
• Using machinery for rolling, cutting & forming materials
• Preparing vessels for launch and sea trials
• Docking work, plate prep, pressure testing & fitting

What You ll Need

• Ability to read fabrication & installation drawings
• Strong hands-on fabrication and assembly skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Solid awareness of safety, health & environmental risks

Pay Rates (PAYE) Days:

• Locals: £20.80/hr
• Non-locals: £28.80/hr

Nights:

• Locals: £27.66/hr
• Non-locals: £35.66/hr

Umbrella rates available (ask for full rate card) What s in It for You?

• Minimum 37 hours per week
• Overtime available (not guaranteed)
• 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
