Evo Personnel are acting as an employment agency, and we are looking to recruit a Permanent Sewer for our prestigious manufacturing client in the Preston area.

Hourly Rate & Package

• £28,080.00 - £39,520.00 DOE.

Day Shift

• Monday Thursday 06 30
• 40 hours per week.

Flexible Language Requirement

• English speaking not required.

Experience Required as a Sewer:

• Sewing furniture experience.
• Able to operate a Zig Zag and Mauser machines.
• Twin needle.
• Overlock.
• Sewing leather.
• Working to job specifications.
• Perform quality assurance checks.
• Previous experience of working in a fast-paced furniture sewing environment.

This Sewer role is suited for a sewing machinist who has worked in a fast-paced sewing environment in the furniture industry previously and wants to earn a bonus on each product they sew. You ll be required to operate a Zig Zag and Mauser Machine. You ll need to be able to sew using twin needle, overlock and have experience sewing leather. You ll need to work to product specifications and perform quality assurance checks on completed products.

You'll have the opportunity to maximise your earnings as there is a bonus scheme in place for each product you sew, for example you could earn up to £19.00 an hour through delivering on quality.

The right candidate will be hands-on, have the experience required, and want to progress in a forward-thinking company.
