Cedar is working with a rapidly scaling, private equity-backed property business, delivering strong growth through a combination of strategic investment and operational excellence. This global group is looking to hire a commercially minded Senior Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role where your work directly shapes strategic decisions in a growing, dynamic organisation.
You will be responsible for month-end delivery and ownership of the Board reporting pack, supporting the senior leadership and managing a team.
Other responsibilities will include.
- Own revenue and operating cost reporting for your UK portfolio
- Partner with Building Managers and Department Heads to provide insight and challenge
- Translate operational activity into clear financial impact
- Lead the month-end close process (P&L, balance sheet, reconciliations)
- Deliver meaningful variance analysis against budget and prior periods
- Produce consolidated management accounts and Board reporting packs
- Ensure accurate allocation of corporate overheads
- Review and sign off outputs across the wider team
- Line manage and develop a small team
- Review AR/AP outputs and ensure timely ledger close
- Drive process improvements and enhance reporting (SAP & Excel)
- Act as a key contact for audits and senior stakeholder queries
- Support senior finance leadership with ad-hoc analysis
Candidate profile and traits
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with 4+ years PQE
- Strong technical accounting background
- Ability to turn complex data into clear, commercial insight
- High-visibility role with Investor-level exposure
