Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 per week Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Start: September 2026

As part of our supportive, multidisciplinary team, you'll have the freedom and flexibility to tailor your teaching to each child's individual needs, helping them develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach small, focused classes, adapting lessons to meet each pupil's unique learning style and needs.
• Create engaging, inclusive learning experiences that encourage curiosity and confidence.
• Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and pastoral colleagues.
• Nurture pupils' academic, social, emotional, and personal development holistically.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment where every child feels valued.
• Support pupils in developing essential life skills and independence.
• Encourage pupil participation and ownership of their learning journey.
• Maintain excellent safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil wellbeing.
• Track and assess progress effectively, adapting strategies as needed.
• Celebrate every success - big or small - and embrace each challenge with positivity.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A creative, flexible, and resilient approach to teaching
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional or complex needs
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to raising outcomes and celebrating progress at every stage
