We're partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit a
Senior Administrator to support the Director General's Office in a fast-paced, governance-focused environment in Coventry. This is a
6-month FTC, Monday-Friday (8:45am-4:45pm), with
hybrid working (typically 3 days onsite).
The role You'll deliver high-level administrative, governance, and secretarial support to senior leadership and key committees. This includes maintaining robust governance processes, supporting voluntary officers end-to-end, and ensuring compliance across records and communications. You'll also play a key role in major events such as AGMs and National Council meetings.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Administrator role:- Provide governance and committee support, ensuring compliance across voluntary officer roles
- Coordinate and service key meetings (Executive, Management, National Council, Administration, Disciplinary), including agendas, minutes, and action tracking
- Maintain accurate records and ensure GDPR compliance
- Lead AGM coordination (logistics, notices, elections, documentation)
- Manage complex diaries, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and correspondence for the Director General
- Oversee inbox management, enquiries, and stakeholder communication
- Support organisational events, projects, and continuous process improvements
Essential experience required for the Senior Administrator role:- Proven senior administration or PA/EA experience supporting senior leaders
- Strong governance/committee support experience (agendas, minutes, action logs)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail, particularly in record-keeping and compliance (GDPR awareness)
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Experience coordinating large meetings/events (e.g. AGMs or board-level meetings)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
